Hello all together,
the Upgrade to the Marlin 1.1.8-5 has worked flawlessly - I am really happy with all those useful options.
My Printer is a a Creality CR10S and there is one difference after upgrading to Marlin - my Y-Axis is vibrating when printing something out of g-code. Its like micro-vibrations, shaking the whole printer.
When moving around with S3D in the interface, or by Turn-nob, nothing -but after loading a G-code and start working the direct movement of Y-Axis sounds really strange. Its not that harmonic movement sound of the Stepper, it is like the stepper is rattling, vibrating...While it is moving it is always a BRRR or Ticking noise in it, like it is skipping or sth. --> It prints fine. Just the sound is wired and the whole printer has micro-vibrations.
When I go back to the original FW of Creality, the sound disappears, the stepper works normally.
Is there anything to do for me to just hold Marlin on the CR 10S, without a BRRRR in the Y-Axis movement.
Youtube Link, the sound is hearable in the background (deep frequency from stepper shaking) - the loud and obvious rattling is the part-fan, its bearing is starting to vibrate too - matching some resonance-frequency.
