I posted this on the Facebook group as well, and @Tim did make a F.A.Q. on it here:
I am currently running a Cr-10S v1.2 board and I have two extra fans I need to add to the 'Always On' spring connector. But I am somewhat confused because the F.A.Q. is saying to add both 'VIN' fans to the spring connector which are both the internal fans.
My CR-10S (any size) has 2 fans connected to "VIN" Ports
These should have the ends cut off and the wires inserted into the "FAN" screw terminal on the board. These fans are always on and wiring them to the "FAN" screw terminals will provide them power just like the stock board did. These are the internal 50mm fan and rear 40mm fan in the control box. The one on the hotend can be plugged into FAN2 but we would recommend connecting this to the "FAN" terminal as well.
But the official photo shows to not cut the fan and plug the control box fan into the FAN2 socket.
So I just want to make sure before I go cutting wires.
