Hi, I was using the stock Ender 2 firmware without problems, but I wanted to upgrade to make sure I was using GPL compliant code. Long story short: I upgraded without problems to the unified firmware U1.R2.3 using the bundled pack (arduino 1.8.5 etc etc), but the machine stopped reading the SD card. It always says there isn't any card inserted.
I tried upgrading the firmware using arduino 1.8.7 and the latest libraries I could update, but it still refuses to read the SD card.
The ONLY line I uncommented was the one to define the Ender 2 in the configuration, and I didn't touch anything else.
Cura seems to be working just fine, so the only problem I'm facing right now is with the SD card (and I used to use the SD card as the only method to print, so it's kind of important to me). I tried different SD cards, and I even tried formatting the card.
Any suggestions? Maybe trying an older version? Did anyone else had an issue like this?
I made a backup of the original Ender 2 flash and eeprom memory, but I'd rather not go back to it, since I would have to connect the ISP programmer again.
PS: Yes, I did run M500 and M502 after doing the firmware upgrade.
